Product already registered

When I try to register my product, it says it had already been registered, but I never registered it and when i check registered devices, nothing shows up.

I also am unable to register my new Asus Zenbook, which I purchased from Best Buy.

yes I think it has been registered by a previous user in the past altough I do not see the registration of the product anywhere.
