Authorized ASUS Service Damaged My Device – Still No Resolution

I am following up on the issue I previously reported in this forum.

On May 13, 2025, I sent my ASUS TUF Gaming A15 (2023) laptop to the authorized service center (SMS Infocomm, Turkey) for internal cleaning under warranty. The laptop was in perfect, unopened condition and was carefully packed.

After the service, the left fan was bent, the metal grill was damaged, and there were visible scratches inside the device. These issues did not exist before. I have full photo and video evidence from before and after the service.

ASUS Turkey claimed this condition is "normal" and refused to take responsibility.

Now, the situation has worsened:

  • Most of the time, the laptop does not power on at all.

  • Occasionally, it turns on after multiple attempts, but it is now unreliable.

This damage clearly occurred due to service mishandling.

I filed a complaint with the Turkish Consumer Arbitration Committee under Law No. 6502. I also shared my case with tech influencers and communities in Turkey.

It has now been 2 months. Nothing has been resolved. I am extremely disappointed.

I will not buy any ASUS product again and strongly advise others to avoid this brand.

@yunusemrek
If your laptop is currently experiencing no power issues, since we are unable to assess the actual situation, we recommend bringing your laptop to a service center for further inspection. I will also forward your case to the local service team for further review. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

I will not send my laptop back to the service center again.

When I first sent it, serious physical damage occurred. Now the device is unusable. I believe sending it back again would cause irreversible further damage.
I have absolutely no confidence in the service center’s competence or accountability.

This is entirely ASUS’s responsibility. Unless ASUS offers a serious and responsible solution, I will pursue this matter to the end through both legal channels and public exposure.

To be honest, it is disgraceful that a global brand like ASUS works with such inadequate, careless, and negligent service centers in a major market like Turkey.
Do you even properly audit your authorized service providers?
I suggest you take a look at the Google Reviews for SMS Infocomm.

There, you will find hundreds of people experiencing the same issues as I have:
Poor workmanship, zero accountability, and damaged devices returned to customers.
This is not an isolated incident; it is clearly a systemic problem.

If ASUS does not intervene, it will not only lose customer trust but also severely damage its brand reputation — not just in Turkey, but globally.

All evidence (including photos and videos) is available in the new Drive link.
I have also included a video showing that the device no longer powers on:

Even if you forward it to the local service team, they do nothing. They simply don’t care. That’s why I will continue raising this issue here every single day because I am losing not only my money but also my time and work.
It is unacceptable for a global brand like ASUS to work with such irresponsible and incompetent service providers in Turkey. I have already been harmed by this issue and continue to suffer. Yet, no real solution has been offered.
If I were in another country, I believe this would have been resolved much more professionally. The problem is not with the ASUS brand but with the inadequate management in Turkey.
