Asus TUF F15 GPU Fan issue

I got this laptop today and noticed that the GPU fan speed in the Nvidia HUD always shows as 0 rpm, even when the GPU temp is up at 80 degrees. Asus own monitoring software - armoury crate and MyAsus, show normal looking GPU speeds.
Also, when I ran a diagnostic on the fans using MyAsus I got possible fan problem alert the first time I ran it, but every other time I ran it afterwards (tried 4 or 5 times) it says everything is fine?

We got an issue in MyASUS 3.0.29.0. So if you are using this version and saw fan issue, please ignore it.
May I know your BIOS version and can you share some screenshot of Amroury Crate that you are referring to?

Hi,
MyASUS is version 3.0.29.0. The test seems to sometimes report fan problems, then other times say everything is ok, but it seems from what you are saying this is an issue with MyASUS version.
I will get back with the BIOS version, but here is the screenshot of armoury crate. You can see the Nvidia HUD showing 0 rpm on the GPU fan, but armoury crate showing it is working..

For your model, CPU and GPU fan are working together, they spin together, even when GPU is not under heavy load or using.
So you don't need to worry about it.
