Hello! Not sure if this is correct place since its from a 3rd party app but
I recently bought a:
ASUS ProArt Studiobook 16 OLED - i9 | 32GB | 2TB | RTX 4060
H7604JV-MY071X
It runs fine with my focusrite scarlett 2 2nd gen soundcard when only running myasus.
I downloaded g helper which is supposed to increase performance slightly but whenever its open the focusrite starts making a buzzing noise after a few minutes, is this a known issue?
Replugging usb cable fixes it for a few minutes then it starts aover again. Its buzzing on both speakers and headphones and i tryed 2 different usb cables plugged in 2 different usb slots.
Appreciate if someone have an idea what this could be due, closest i found googling mentioned something about grounding but that doesnt really make sense either since its only causing this on g helper.
Dont have serial number of laptop at this moment since im away from home.

Update: switched to another cable and its happening less often, but still occurs, it would seem g helper isnt the cause since it happens now with app closed (and tray bar exited)
Only simularity between occurances seem to be fan speeding up at high cpu usage and thats where i get the buzzing sound.

Before closing i want to share what i discovered and solution for others that might get the same.
There is some issue with running focusrite driver on windows 11 that was causing this, i havent had this issue on ny tuf a15 so i have no idea why it doesnt work on proart laptop.
The solution was either one of the following:
1 . Uninstall focusrite driver and run on generic w11 driver (this removes the asio driver for focusrite though so it wasnt a option for me.
2. Dual boot or reinstall main os to windows 10, no sound issues so far there with the focusrite driver.
🫤 some things just sometimes doesnt make sense, this appear to be one of them, you may close this as solved, hope this helps someone in the future. 🙃

The G-Helper you mentioned is third-party software and not provided by us, so we cannot evaluate its compatibility issues with other devices.
If you are experiencing sound issues while using an external sound card, please check whether the sound issue occurs on the laptop itself or the external sound card.
As you mentioned that the frequency of the problem is lower after changing the cables, we also recommend you connect the external device to another computer to check if the issue lies with the external sound card.
As for the laptop itself, we suggest you ensure that both the BIOS and the system are updated to the latest versions.
