ASUS TUF Dash F15 (2021) no SSD found by Windows installation

Hello all.

I have read and tried https://www.asus.com/support/faq/1044458

I am having trouble with a fresh instal of Windows. The installer does not see my SSD.

I have tried downloading the RST drivers by searching for my serial number on the support/download site. (Exact model number is FX516PE). I installed Ubuntu, then installed a Windows Virtual Box, and used that to extract the drivers from the EXE.
After trying the installer again it reads the driver files on a second USB flash drive (two options 9A0B, one managed and one not).

After selecting one it scans for a while but fails with the message

No new devices drivers were found. Make sure the installation media contains the correct drivers, and then click OK.

I have tried version 19 and 18 from the Asus Website, and I have also tried every other IRST driver I could find lying around the internet.

Things I have tried

  • Disabling VMD
  • RST Drivers
  • Windows 10 and 11 installers

I am now out of ideas.

Just in case, this is all my BIOS settings

Armoury Create Control    Enabled
Hyper-Threading                 Enabled
Intel Virtualisation Tech    Enabled
Intel AES-NI                          Enabled
VT-d                                        Enabled
SMART Self Test                   On
Network Stack                     Disabled
USB Mass Storage Drive    Enabled
DVMT Pre-Allocated           64M
Enable VMD Controller     Enabled <- Tried Both
Thunderbold Security       No
Fast Boot                              Enabled <- Tired Both
If anyone has any ideas, please let me know...

@JonathanPeel
May I ask if you have installed both systems on the laptop for use?
If so, from our standpoint, we are unable to provide assistance with the process of changing to a dual-system setup.
Sorry for any inconvenience it may be caused.

Hi, please elaborate when you mean by "both systems".

I am trying to install one system (Windows)

@JonathanPeel
Due to my misunderstanding of the description regarding Ubuntu installation, I mistakenly thought you intended to set up a dual-boot system.
I apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Could you please provide me with a screenshot of the issue you are currently facing?
Please also provide the BIOS version you are currently using.
Thank you.

The Windows Installer does not see the SSD, and asks for Drivers.

I can select the driver downloaded from ASUS (I have tried both, from v19 and 18)

The Windows Installer does still not see the SSD.
