ASUS SimPro Dock 2 compatiblity

Hello

Please help to understand. Is ASUS SimPro Dock 2 is compatible to Lenovo Think Pad  series (example: x13).

Before I used Lenovo Universal USB-C dock, but I try to understand is is working the same way as my previous.  Is it so that always original producer is better than X-producer.?
