Hello! I recently purchased a new laptop, the ROG G533RM model, and I encountered an issue. The touchpad sometimes works on its own, but not consistently. Has anyone else experienced this problem and can guide me?

Have you updated your laptop's system version, drivers, and BIOS to the latest versions?
[Notebook/Desktop/AIO] How to use Windows Update in OS system and how to update BIOS through Windows...
Since I do not understand the description of this part:
"The touchpad sometimes works on its own, but not consistently"
Could you please provide more details about the situation when the issue occurs? Is it an issue of gost touch?
Alternatively, if you could record a video of the problem using your smartphone when it happens and provide it for us to review, it would be helpful in understanding the issue better.
Sorry for any inconvenience it may be caused.

I have watched the video you provided. Is the issue occurring only when connecting a USB flash drive?
Does the problem also occur when connecting other USB devices (using the same USB port)?
If the issue persists, I would recommend sending it for repair to check if there is any abnormality with the USB port.
