Will a BD4 or BD5 serve as a good extension to a BE14000/BT8 Mesh?

I have a 3 node BE14000 mesh. A Ring cam disconnects/reconnects frequently. In my previous Linksys setup I had a Linksys Velop node closer to the cam and it solved the problem. Thinking about adding a BD4 or BD5 to the exisitng BE14000 mesh.

  • Any issues with adding either the BD4 or BD5 to an exisitng ZenWifi mesh?
  • Which has the better range - BD4 or BD5?

Suggestions/advice welcomed.

Thanks.

Tom

BD5 5 GHz matches bandwidth of BT8, best choice of the two.
