PRIME B760M-A WIFI D4 Bios Bug

Hi,

Bios PRIME B760M-A WIFI D4 BIOS 1402 and PRIME B760M-A WIFI D4 BIOS 1220 have a bug with ram memory.

I have DDR4 ram 3600mhz and when i enable XMP my ram speed stays at the lowest (2133mhz)

I need to go back to PRIME B760M-A WIFI D4 BIOS 1205 to be able to run 3600mhz.

I went to the computer store and they also tested it out and confirmed that the bios is bugged.

I hope it gets fixed because this ia very big bug

Setup:

i5 12600K

PRIME B760M-A WIFI D4

Ram: Corsair Dominator DDR4 3600mhz

BIOS flashing always carries some risk so I am uncomfortable doing it again.  How likely is it that the ME version could affect how the memory runs?  Have your engineers actually demonstrated that the ME version affects memory performance.  With at least 3 separate reports (2 on this forum) of RAM not running at full speed with the 1220 or 1402 BIOS, it seems unlikely to me that the ME version is the issue.

They just keep looking for ways not to look into it. At this point i'm starting to doubt theh even have someone that resolves bugs in their firmware. This topic is months old with multiple reports all of us have different spec's, we all gave the details they need and before they used the excuses of not having a screenshot now they have a screenshot now they use an other excuse.

It's just starting to work on my nervous how bad the support is.

In the future we just need to stay away from asus.

You can see from my screenshots with the 1220 BIOS that the ME version remained on 2020 so it was not automatically updated by the BIOS flash as your website says it should be.

Regarding our test using the same memory, the testing results passed, as shown in the attached image:


Upon checking the official website for the F4-3200C16D-16GVRB, the default operating speed is specified as 2133 MT/s (MHz), and overclocking is required to achieve 3200 MT/s (MHz).


Given your situation, we recommend installing a single memory module in the recommended DIMM_A2 slot and verifying stable overclocking before adding the second memory module.
Additionally, if necessary, please compare the memory speed under the system, for instance, using CPU-Z.

Today I flashed the 1601 BIOS and it allowed my 2x8GB G.Skill RAM to run at full speed (3200Mhz) so clearly the 1220 and 1402 BIOSes were faulty because nothing else has changed.
