BIOS 1634 Beta and beyond requires a new RAM support list

The new BIOS updates for the Ryzen CPUs needs a new and updated version of the supported RAM, listed on the website.  I have previously used a G.Skill 6000 kit, but it would not go beyond the 4800 speed no matter what I tried in XMP or EXPO.  I changed to an OLOY 6000 kit that was supported on the list, and have had zero problems.  I hope other people do not have problems because it is not listed or not supported.  Thank you.

Here we mainly discuss the issues/questions related to ASUS laptop & Phone product.
Could you please tell me which product model you are inquiring about?
Thank you.

Terribly sorry about bringing this up here, then.

Regarding the TUF B650 Plus WIFI boards, and others.  The new BIOS flash supports higher than 6400 RAM clocks, but no RAM list is supported.  I am not sure how to request that list be updated with the BIOS, or if it will get any support at all.  Considering the board is very popular and higher tier (not withstanding previous backlash from the community on how ASUS handled the CPU and board melting issues of past), I was really hoping for lower CL timings on the RAM list, for these speeds.  I had to settle for CL32, which is okay, but enthusiasts want lower CL timing RAM options on that list supported, of course.

Thank you.

Hi @RANDOM1337 ,

based on your issue,  may I know if the current issue you are facing is that the memory cannot exceed a speed of 4800, and you are hoping for a new version of the BIOS? BIOS update may improve compatibility or performance?

Also, high clock speed memory may generate more heat. If your system overheats, it may cause the memory speed to decrease in order to protect the hardware from damage. Please ensure that your system has sufficient cooling and ventilation to maintain an appropriate temperature.

May I ask if you could provide the current memory model number?
