Detailed description: I have taken laptop just 10 days back. Fingerprint scanner was working propoerly
However it has stopped working suddenly. May be because of windows update or I dont know.
Please let me know how to get Fingerprint as well as face recognition for my laptop

My Asus Vivobook flip 14 has stopped finger print scanner

I am sure about fingerprint device is working , but the device driver is in problem. go to device manager , check the fingerprint scanner device , yellow mark will be there.
so uninstall this device driver , restart the windows , after that use windows updates , windows will install the driver for fingerprint scanner

Please kindly check if your BIOS and Windows are all up to date.
You may check in device manager to see if Fingerprint sensor is listed there and if it is working fine.
You may try to reinstall fingerprint driver from our official support website as well.
