System: Asus Expertbook B1400CEPE
Battery or AC: Both
Model: B1400CEPE
Frequency of occurrence: Upon entering windows (first boot and after restart)
Reset OS: Windows 10 and 11

========================
Detailed description:
Crash always occur on startup of Windows. This happens when Asus System Control Interface version is 3.1.0.0 or higher (3.1.1.0, and the latest 3.1.2.0).
It doesn't happen in version 3.0.22.0. So, temporary remedy is to roll back Asus System Control Interface to version 3.0.22.0. But it keeps updating itself to the newest version.
Tried updating from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and problem still the same. Dear Asus, please look at version 3.0.22.0 and apply to the latest version, because v3.0.22.0 doesn't have Asus Splendid crashes.

Hi guys, at last I got time to do some trial regarding this matter.
I plugged spare disk containing default factory Windows 10 installation that came with my laptop. ASCI version was 3.0.5.0. No Asus Splendid error as you can see from screenshot below:
screenshot-284-29.png
After that, the system downloading and updating itself. I just had to wait for the updates (including ASCI V3.1.3.0) to complete:
screenshot-285-29.png
After update completed, I did several Windows restarts, and no Asus Splendid error this time with ASCI V3.1.3.0:
screenshot-287-29.png
By this, we can confirm that no hardware fault causing the problem. Clearly at some point, windows update/driver update/app installation is causing incompatibility with ASCI version higher than 3.0.22.0.
Unfortunately I can't continue using this factory installation and reinstalling all my apps one by one. It will takes too much time to download, install, and reconfigure everything. So, is there anything I can do to fix this problem without sacrificing my current installation?

Hi guys, just want to update the situation. I think I've gotten rid of the problem.
So yesterday I did several test with ASCI V3.1.3.0. As usual, Asus Splendid always crashed upon system startup and when turning on Tru2Life feature. My system is on the latest update from MyAsus and Windows Update.
As you know, driver update from laptop manufacturer usually lagged behind update from hardware vendor. That's why I always download Nvidia GPU driver update directly from Nvidia, not Asus. (Fyi, my laptop came with dual GPU). But it came to mind that I never did this for Intel GPU. I only relied on MyAsus to update Intel GPU driver. And as I mentioned earlier, no more update available for my system in MyAsus and Windows Update.
So I went to Asus support website to check driver version for Intel Iris Xe Graphics. Latest one available is V30.0.101.1003 dated 2021/12/22 (Just before ASCI V3.0.22.0 came out) which is the same with my current installed driver.

I went to Intel website and downloaded latest driver for Iris Xe (which is V30.0.101.1994) and give it a try.
And....... long struggle finally pays off. After restart, no more Asus Splendid error. Tried to restart several times and turning on and off Tru2Life, no more error. Today, as you can see, no Splendid error as well.

@BDCTV and @brunoluong, you can try update your Intel GPU driver directly from Intel.
And for @GEEK_ASUS and ASUS Support team, please update your Intel driver at the website and also in MyAsus, so no more people stumble upon this problem.
Thank you guys. Have a nice day. 😉

I always had the latest Intel GPU and nVIDIA drivers. I do not believe that's an issue. I am on Windows 11 Pro 64x with all the updates applied.
You are experimenting with Windows 10 to resolve the issue, right? Why 3.0.22 works not versions after it? I do not have time to waste by playing around with resets. ASUS is horrible to fix the issues. The solution is to trash the MyASUS for now and the next laptop will not be from ASUS. There are other manufacturer choices to avoid headaches.

Right, I'm on Windows 10.
I was using latest Intel GPU driver available in MyAsus/Asus website, which released before ASCI V3.0.22.0 (Jan '22). In that case, it make sense if the compatibility broke after the release of ASCI V3.1.x.x. So, after updating manually with Intel driver from Intel website, no more error in my system with ASCI V3.1.3.0. It's been two days now no Splendid crash with V3.1.3.0.
I planned to move to Windows 11 about next week. I will update the situation after that.

ASUS released on June 13th Screen Xpert Version V3.0.0.0. Not sure if that the causing conflicts with the ASCI version 3.1.x.x, on Windows 11 but after updating to the Screen Xpert version v3.0.0.0. the crash of Splendid does not happen.
