========================
My Zenbook has gone through 3 keyboards. Different keys just stop working intermittently until they quit entirely. The replacements go bad faster than the original. Does anyone here have a solution for this or a source for OEM or good quality aftermarket keyboards?

According to what you described, please contact ASUS repair center in the country of your residence: https://www.asus.com/support/Service-Center-All-Countries/. Sorry for any inconvenience it may be caused.
Sorry, not looking to pay hundreds of $ to repair an old notebook. I can and have done this procedure myself several times already. All I need is the part. I have ordered a cheap aftermarket one again since that is all I can find. Then I will get a new non-ASUS notebook and keep this old one around as a spare. It's a real shame... I replaced the battery the last time I did the keyboard and this notebook is still working great... except for the a and d keys. Which can drive a person crazy when you can't even type a 2 sentence e-mail.
