UX535 and SimPro Dock 2 -power button and charging not working

Detailed description:
The power button is not working or lighting up. The laptop is not being powered / charging.
USB and DP ports are working on dock. Updated firmware in laptop and dock to latest available version. All drivers installed. Windows fully updated.
Laptop and dock are brand new. ASUS support confirmed compatibility before purchase.
How do I resolve this issue?

Unfortunately, the SimPro Dock 2 does not support your model.
