    Dear all,

The new driver V3.00.01.1100 has been released on the support website

    1. please download the new version
    2. go to device manager>find "MediaTek MT7921">right click and chose "properties">chose "uninstall device(U)">make sure you check on the "delete driver of this device" then uninstall device
    3. install the new version

Let me know if the BSOD still happen.

  • Exact same thing happening on my ROG Strix G513QR. The only temporary fix I have is to delete and reinstall the driver. This only holds for the day and the next time I shut down and start my laptop I have to do it again. The driver is shot and needs a stable version.

  • Same problem with my asus Rog strix G15 G513QC.

    Win 10 64bit 2004 bulid 19041

I have tried to reinstall the driver and yet it still happened.

    Frequency of occurrence: Very frequently

  • Dear all,

Can you help to specify the Wifi driver version that is having this issue ?

Hi Blake, thank you for your response!

As a specified in the first post - this is mtkwl6ex.sys 3.0.1.1050.

  • mtkwl6ex.sys 3.0.1.1050 here as well. Some more information. It seems that if I disable auto connect the driver does not crash anymore. Instead it disconnects every 5 ish minutes and I have to manually reconnect. Then it stabilizes after half an hour and just ocasionally disconnects but no longer crashes. I have also disabled hibernation on all power modes to prevent the wi fi card from being shut down. It might be the case that repeated attempts at reconnecting cause the crash. Hope it helps
