I have a Galaxy watch 4 on as a trusted device so that when it is connected to the smartphone it does not ask for the unlock code. But half the time when I put it to sleep with the power button, when I pick it up again it asks me for the code again. I have already verified that the watch has not been disconnected at any time and 4 hours have not passed.

There is no minimum time. Sometimes it's been 1 minute later and other times it's half an hour or 1 hour. It is random.
