I noticed when I install a theme and then remove it and revert to the default theme, the old themed icons (already uninstalled) still appear in some menus like sharing! It means they aren't uninstalled completely no matter you clear cache or not... Please check attachments.
This is not intended to be use on newer Zenfone since Zenfone 7 onward. That's why theme app wasn't included by default. It's intended only on Rog Phone.
The only way is factory reset. Or even downgrade the firmware if it doesn't fix.
