Does using the dual band WiFi setting use more battery than using this single band WiFi.

Dual band WiFi

Use dual band will use slightly more battery life than using only single band becoz you device will keep pinging both the bands
Just use single band , dual band doesn't make a difference of day and night becoz to use dual band you have to sit near router as 5ghz dont have long range and sitting near a router will in majority wont reduce Speeds and very minimal latency if any and far from router , well you are not getting 5ghz anyway
