Purple haze

5 days into owning Zenfone 6 when I use Pro mode and set the shutterspeed above 13 seconds there's a Purple Haze all over the place on the regular camera but not on the wide-angle camera if I take a picture of a building with a word on it the word is reversed an placed for some reason on the other side of the photo and it's very dull but it's also very visible ....3 days into owning the phone I got a smudge on my camera and wiped it and noticed a rainbow esque butterfly wing effect when I'm around 50ft or closer to ANY light source at night as well as a lot of reflective "artifacts" ...if I take a pic of the street an 4 cars are facing the camera I get 6 light floaters in various places on screenI know for sure that it's not from cleaning the lens off so I have no idea what's going on with cleaning the lens off isn't going to cause this effect.. My zenfone 5z never did any of this.... Is there a fix? Tries gettin a hold of asus on here.. When you get to the " insert serial number" section it apparentlt doesn't know the difference between I an 1 or 0 an O an even says it an won't let me continue

... So how can I talk to tech support when the system doesn't even know how to spell or do numbers when typing in the SN of phone? Oh an the tap to turn off/on screen.... Only works at lock screen which is kiiiinda pointless... Fix'

Night mode is a bit tricky because you have to aim the camera a certain distance upward or you won't get the toy claw symbol (what I call it) an it only does a 2 second shot... Toy claw symbol there.... Damn near a minute to take the pic... Even holding the phone I never get the claw symbol.. Wanna take a pic of the river... Gotta aim it higjer for it to show up or balance the tripod where no wind moves it for symbal to appear to get full night shot

You're noticing this same effect with night shots in Pro Mode? That's a hard use case to test, it's good to know we have someone else seeing the same thing.

@mastershu If you PM me your serial number I can check your device info. Are you requesting a repair? If you recreate these shots but not in Pro Mode, does the haze disappear?

@mastershu I can't say why our website didn't accept your password. You're the first to mention this.

The "rainbow esque butterfly wing effect" is a result of Night Mode which your 5z didn't have and the purple haze will be fixed in a future update coming later this year.

I coulda sworn a few days ago in didn't have the butterfly wing thing goin evem in regular photo mode or video.... Glass on camera I can see an feel is waaay different than my 5z

The first 32s shutter time I took was okay, but several days latter, this purple effect appeared.

The more the shutter time is high, the more this happens !

I don't think a repair is necessary, just an update, but in low light scenes (auto), the pictures appears with a little pink/purple hue.

Yeaaahh now do it with the wide angle an it won't be purple it will be normal... Well... As normal as the wide angle is lol
