Anders_ASUSLet us hope you can check and give a solution for this issue👍https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/83301#Comment_83301
I've gathered a lot of logs regarding different charging issues on both ZenFone 6 and ROG Phone 2. So far they have all looked like hardware issue but we can't know for sure before we can take a look at some of these devices (which hasn't been possible because of covid19)

chaithanya.gchaithanya.gAlso check for any third party(pirated apps) which are running continuously in the background even though you restricted using auto-start managerhttps://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/83301#Comment_83301
I am having the same problem when the phone becomes too hot and I charged my phone while air conditioner (ac) is running multiple times so that the device doesn't get too hot and fast charging didn't cut off in that environment when the device is cool.
These are my testing experience.

This fast charging cut off problem started after last 2-3 updates.

For me it is the problem which made the phone too hot now it's normal hot not that much and the speed also increased drastically.
Hope it helps👍

MonarkI believe in some cases, it's hardware (wither cable, charger, USB-connector in phone or circuit board), in some cases it's a background app that's increasing the temperature and in some cases, it's just because the user lives in a constant 30+ celsius environment. But the bottomline is that we haven't found any bug that's causing thishttps://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/83311#Comment_83311
