Mic problem when external mic (from earphone) is used.

As the title suggests I'm facing mic issue on all calls when external mic from headphone is used. People facing the same issue please upvote this problem.

Dear @Mattias_ASUS please this a legit issue which has been pesking me whenever I use Bose aux cable with inline mic. And let me stress here that the cable is new which I recently purchase

Have you updated your system to the latest version 35.1210.1420.105? If not, please update and let us know if the external microphone issue persists.
Could you describe the problem you're experiencing with the external mic during calls? For example, can the other party not hear you at all, or is there noise?
Does the same issue occur when using the external mic outside of calls?

Hi Laura, thank you for responding. Yeah I'm already on .105 version. Ofcourse, the other person on calls complains of not hearing my voice both on Voip as well as regular calls. I dont understand what causes this mic issue, let me remind you its not all the time (a quick restart fixes the issue though, but it not feasible).

Same here! External mic works fine elsewhere, but during calls, people can't hear me at all. Definitely needs a fix — upvoted!.
