What's going on with the Zenfone 10?

No security updates since May 2024, a bunch of complaints and suggestions in my original early posts at phone launch, supposed to be forwarded to the team have had no actions taken, Telegram crashes most times when trying to send media (esp. videos - defo can't edit them).

Is this my last Asus product?

Hello, @PBN aarp membership login

It sounds like you’re having several issues with your Asus phone:

No Security Updates: Contact Asus support to check for upcoming updates.
Telegram Crashes: Clear the cache, reinstall the app, and ensure everything is up to date.
Customer Support: Reach out to Asus for assistance and escalate your concerns.
If these issues persist, you might consider other brands for your next device.

Feel free to ask if you need more help!

Best regards

Jon ralph

Hi, @PBNterustechnology

Given these issues, I can understand your hesitation about potentially purchasing another Asus product in the future. Consistent software support, timely updates, and reliable app performance are reasonable expectations for a modern smartphone. The lack of action on your previous feedback and the ongoing technical problems you've experienced point to some systemic challenges within Asus' product development and customer service processes.

My recommendation would be to continue escalating your concerns with Asus, potentially through multiple channels (customer support, social media, etc.) to try and get a more meaningful response. If they are unable to satisfactorily resolve the issues you've faced, then it may indeed be prudent to consider other brand options for your next smartphone purchase. The longevity and dependability of the hardware is important, but the software experience is equally crucial. I wish you the best of luck in finding a device that meets your needs and expectations.

Honestly, the answer to your question is "Yes".

Too many issues and too much silence. ASUS phones are just not a good decision anymore.
