Usb-c to hdmi connection not working

Hi, I have a UM4331 zenbook and I am unable to get the usb-c to hdmi to work on the monitor.  The cable is good tried on girlfriends computer.  i get the message "display connection might be limited.  Make sure the displayport device you're connecting to is supported by your PC.  select this message for more troubleshooting info.

Hi @broglass ,

I would like to confirm with you if the model you inquired about is UM433IQ.
After confirming, the USB Type-C port on the UM433IQ model only supports data transfer and cannot be used for display.
We recommend using HDMI for connection instead. Thank you.
