Detailed description:I bought a 2TB sandisk extreme pro version 2 whose the speed can be up to 2000 mb/s if connected via usb 3.2 Gen 2. The sandisk technical support adviced me to make a low level format and I did it via windows disk format.
This is a test result via Crystal Disk Mark version 8 before my low level format.

FongPouiWhy don't buy it? It has greater speeds on small files. So, I got a confirmation from Sandisk technical team that Sandisk extreme pro v2 (portable ssd nvme drive) will perfromace its full speed "if and only if" it is connected through a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2!!!
If your laptop doesn't have this type of usb, do not buy that sandisk!
Don't think that an adapter device to TS4 will help because usb port 3.2 gen 2x2 port is a hardware problem (motherboard). You can get a usb 3.2 gen 2x2 if and only if you replace your motherboard by a new which is equiped with that usb gen 2x2!!!

No problem... if you have no usb 3.2 gen 2x2 on your motherboard and you would like to spend more money for using it at 1000 mb/s! If you buy sandisk 1000 mb/s you will get the same speed and pay cheaper...

FongPouiIf you use it only like storage for big files, it's right. When you run other software from them, PRO version significant faster. No problem... if you have no usb 3.2 gen 2x2 on your motherboard and you would like to spend more money for using it at 1000 mb/s! You mean after installing a software on that drive as external one and it will run faster? I wonder how if it offers the same reading speed. Can you explain that?
