Asus Zenbook 14 OLED display issues

Can someone help me fix this issue?

I have the brightness on my laptop set to max, but only the taskbar and windows that I open will actually reach this brightness level. The wallpaper stays the same brightness no matter what. Thanks in advance!

May I know the complete model name of the laptop you are using?
How to find Model Name
Have you updated your BIOS and system to the latest versions? 
If you change the wallpaper to a different one, does the issue persist?
