Laptop won't charge

I bought my Vivobook 17 yesterday and it was all great. However, my battery will not charge. It will die immediately when I take out the charger and the red light keeps blinking. In the right corner it tells me it is charged for 59%, which is not true.
Do you have any solutions?

Laptop won't charge

Lets drains the battery power fully.
After that remove all concerned devices from ll laptop including charger.
Press and hold the power button for 150 seconds . Then release it.
Connect the charger for thirty minutes charge it.
Go bios reset the bios settings to default.
Boot as normal mode.
. again shutdown the laptop.
Ho to bios adjust the bios settings as you ll like save and exit

How do you know that battery is completely dead. There are many reasons are there.
And getting replaced battery through online sellers is different, some times you get defective too.
So get new battery from asus authorised service centre.
