Dear ASUS Support Team,
I am writing to express my concern regarding my ASUS ROG 5s smartphone, which has developed a critical hardware issue despite being only slightly out of warranty. The device has started exhibiting problems related to the motherboard issue – device not turning on, which I have come to understand is a common issue with this model.
I had invested in the ROG 5s because of its premium reputation and ASUS’s commitment to quality. However, facing a motherboard failure shortly after the warranty expired is extremely disappointing, especially considering the price and specifications of the device.
I respectfully request that ASUS review this matter and provide a goodwill warranty extension or free repair/replacement, as this appears to be a manufacturing defect and not user-induced damage. I have attached the purchase invoice and relevant details below:
Device Model: ASUS ROG Phone 5s
serial number: M9AIGF003500H57
I have been complaining for the last 3 months, but my problem is not getting resolved.
Please let me know the next steps to resolve this issue. I hope ASUS will uphold its reputation for customer satisfaction and provide a fair resolution.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
[Venkatesh Koli]

Regarding your case, I have already reported it to the local service team.
As previously mentioned, since your phone is out of warranty (warranty expired on 2023-12-17), repair and inspection will incur inspection and parts costs. The local service team has informed that they have offered you a discount on the repair.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Bro if u reading this...just stop consumer case bull**bleep** and just go to a good skiled local mobile repair shop and get it repaired...they will do a CPU reball or something and it will cost 4000 INR
My ROG 5S also had this motherboard problem and it was out of warranty and asus was asking 50k INR to replace motherboard
So I also raised a consumer forum complaint and they negotiated to replace it for 28k INR and case was unresolved so I started using some other phone.
So when I went to Mumbai for some office work ...I took this ROG phone with me for repair and it's now working fine and it costed 4000INR
