I'd say it's more of an app issue. Where do you suggest we show network speed if not in this area? Sure, we could probably make it so that if any text is detected in this area, the network speed will go away or get moved somewhere else, but then that might also be the wrong decision. The best thing is if the app doesn't utilize that space to begin with
