I am sad to say that this issue has not been fixed even with the latest firmware (WW_34.1010.0820.90). The issue persists and the only solution I discovered is to disable the codec. (Settings, Bluetooth, Specific Device Setting, Disable Aptx Adaptive). Although the phone displays Snapdragon Sound notification even after disabling said codec in the settings, I still would've preferred to keep it enabled. It makes no sense to disable a basic feature that should be working fine in an expensive phone such as this, not to mention this issue had been previously reported in numerous occasions.
