Camera app issue. ASUS, you need to responsible.

just so you know that this bug is annoying, i can't use camera properly on by system camera app. there is no front camera and main camera, the 0.6× become macro and 1~8× become ultra-wide. but! 3rd party camera app or whatsapp/discord/tiktok camera is normal, i can use them. so, you need to responsible and give us more firmware updates to fix this issue.

Hi it happened to me too.

I am using the same firmware as the OP. In my case:

- sometimes the front camera is missing (see attachment)

 - sometimes the main camera is missing, especially when i am trying to make QR payment. suddenly it shows my face instead of the QR i am pointing.

all these issues gone and the camera works normal again every single time I restart. i believe it's not hardware because my phone never been thrown or fall or slipping from my hand.

i have this exact problem, and solved this issue by beating my phone. now the problem is gone.

There are several people in Reddit with same issues.

I am just pointing this out because I saw mod in other thread stating that "they cannot verify whether this is a bug or hardware defect". 

Unless ASUS want to claim that their phones have hardware issues (again) I guess it's a software / firmware issue.

8/10 user have this camera issue, so i'm pretty sure that there is problem with the firmware as you said.

Проблема с камерой. Автофокуса нет. Макросъёмки нет. Переключиться на селфи камеру нет возможности. Режима 8K нет. Я просто в шоке что с ASUS могут быть такие проблемы. Это очень печально. Купил кирпич а не смартфон (.
