My phone just recently ran out of warranty, and after working prefectly fine for the first 2 years, the WIFI and hotspot decided to stop working entirely just now.
After looking up the issue online, I found out that my phone has no MAC address as well and many other people had the same issue.
After turning off the phone for couple of minutes and turning it back on, the wifi comes back, but only for about half an hour. In this time, phone gets warmer and warmer when wifi is turned on, and at some point turns off, after which wifi does breaks again.
What is this caused by? Is there a way to fix it? It certainly isn't *my* fault that wifi, which is perhaps the most important part of any phone, broke.
