My battery life is so bad that I can't even compare to my old ROG 2, which is 2 years or even more old, has much more apps installed, active services and so on, and battery lasts full day no problem.

This ROG 5s hardly lasts until I finish work, where I don't even use the phone so much.
In 4 hours I loose 30% of battery life..
What the hell ?

there are several battery consuming points

120 hz forced, in general use I do not understand the usefulness

Merged Mobile data with Wifi, serves in rare cases of bad public wifi otherwise it is useless with good Wifi

In addition it is here in 5G enable, if the 5G is bad or there is none the system is stupid, it constantly consumes battery by looking for it

The syncho is activated for background applications, it is practical but deadly for the battery

The consumption of my messenger is ridiculous compared to yours, in 1 hour it does not even appear in my consumption.

Hey TikTOK 4% in 9 min!!!! I don't have but an application that consumes 4% in less min it's immediate uninstallation, it's not normal, more than any game, check your background sync and check that the system detects the abnormal consumption of applications

120Hz is for eye candy/smoothness.

I Merge it so I can connect to my dashcam in car, which is by WIFI, and have internet from my SIM Card.

Yeah 5G can be dissabled probably. Just kept it on to see if it ever gets connected. Havent seen it.

Background sync is a must for me.

Its probably because of video calls. (Messenger)

TikTok yeah, disabled from autostart, put on restricted now.

Anyway what makes me crazy that ambient display (which is actually AOD) drains quite a lot.. And in deep sleep battery drains quite a lot even without AOD. It may be background sync, but then once again, rog2 has even more background sync, accounts and apps. Battery lasts longer.
