Detailed description:
The wifi adapter in my laptop will stop working after I play some heavy games (both offline and online). It is very anoying because when i am playing game, I can still surf the net. However, after i quit from games for 3 to 5 minutes, the wifi adapter just stop working. It still displays connected but there was no internet. If i turn off and on wifi, there would be no connection available. Troubleshooting can fix this problem until the next restart. This problem only occurs after playing game nomatter how long i play, even few minutes. Tried to uninstall wifi adapter driver, all other graphic audio, Bios... driver as recommended in My asus. Pls help me.

Hi there,
Does this happen with Ethernet?
And have you tried another Wifi hot spot?
Thank you.

Hi Blake.
The problem happened to all wifi hot spots. Today i have try to reset my computer from local image and the problem seem to be continuing. After installing borderland 3, play for a while and quit, the WiFi adapter went wrong again. Damn I hate this.

I do not use ethernet, only mobile tp-link router. And now, it disconnects when I am in game for while. WiFi adapter was hidden from device manager. When I click at it, the general tab say code 45, hardware not connected.
Tomorrow, I will reset my laptop from cloud image, do you think this will fix it?

Hi there,
May I know your BIOS version?
And do you have any game that does not use internet to play?
Please try it and see if it wifi keeps connecting after playing.
Thank you.
