Trying to find the serial number on my Asus laptop

I'm trying to register my computer with Microsoft (just subscribed to Office 365) and they're asking for my Asus laptop's serial number. It's on the bottom, but is not legible (some of the letters/numbers rubbed off). How do I get the serial number, other than the label? Thanks.
