G713PI (2023) Maximum supported upgradeable memory

Hi,

I just purchased the G713PI ROG Strix G17 2023 laptop and am curious as to what the maximum memory I can install in it is?

It came with 16GB but I know it has a spare Sodimm slot so I could add another 16GB stick taking the total to 32GB.

It is possible to purchase a set of 64GB Sodimm (2 x 32GB) but I note on the Asus website the maximum supported for this laptop is listed at 32GB - is that an actual limitation of the laptop and if so why?

If not, is the 32GB limit simply because that was the maximum size of DDR Sodimm available at the point the product page for this particular laptop was created?

Regarding the other memory slot, you can install up to 16GB of memory.
If you intend to install larger memory for usage, we cannot guarantee its stability and compatibility.
