Stuck on the startup screen. Pressing any button does not work. After 1 minute, the fan will automatically speed up but the screen does not change.

When ever the laptop is left idle it went to sleep mode. And the fan speed maxes out in sleep mode . Whenever i awake it goes back to normal. Is the fan speed a issue ?
