Yea, that isn't the problem... the "serial" number for the ax92u wireless routers isn't how Asus tracks the devices. There is a warrenty card in the packaging with a different number, and like a dumba$$ I didn't register the routers (plural, I bought a 2 pack). I am awaiting a reply from the registration folks, but it is really slow... it has been a couple of days.
This has been super frustrating... routers aren't supposed to go bad 6 months after purchase... and the serial numbers on the devices are supposed to be the same one's the company uses in their databases...
just idiotic...
😥

Hi Danjl,
If you bought a set, then the SN you need for registration and RMA would be the set SN, instead of the individual one.
Thank you.

so how would I get the "set" serial number if I threw the packaging out?
