Hello,
I purchased a ASU’s XT8. I’m having issues with the app as it won’t support the installation of this device and with the router being connected to modem it doesn’t have access to the internet.
Am I doing something wrong? Thank you.

Probably a bug. I'd suggest calling/reaching out to ASUS support for help with setup. (I don't have this model to share experience I'm afraid).

according to your question, are you referring to the inability to add the router in the ASUS Router app?
Have you connected the network cable provided by your internet service provider (ISP) from the modem to the WAN port of the router?
We suggest that you refer to the FAQ section below for the setup process.
Also, please ensure that your router firmware is up to date. If the issue persists, we recommend trying a factory reset on the router.
