Help with a wifi extender or ai mesh

Hi,

I have a GT-AX6000 router and I was trying to setup a ai mesh network with a AC5300 but no matter what I do I can't get it to work so I need a recommendation for a extender or ai mesh router that is cheap and will work. I need to get my wifi extended about another 10 feet so I can set up a wifi camera to watch my garage.

Anyone have any suggestions. The cheaper the better.

To help us better troubleshoot your connection issue between GT-AX6000 and AC5300, we recommend that you try the following steps:

  1. Reset AC5300: Please try resetting AC5300 to its factory settings and reconfigure it. This will help rule out problems caused by incorrect settings.
  2. Firmware update: Please ensure that the firmware of GT-AX6000 and AC5300 is up to date. You can log into the router's management interface to update the firmware.
  3. Band switching: If you encounter problems when using the 5GHz band, you can try switching to the 2.4GHz band to see if it improves the connection.
  4. Antenna adjustment: Please adjust the antenna positions of GT-AX6000 and AC5300 to achieve the best signal coverage. You can adjust the antennas vertically or horizontally and point them towards areas with more devices.
