Has anyone been able to connect an XT8 mesh network, via a Fritzbox supplied router

My Internet Provider likes it's users to connect using their supplied and modified Fritzbox, which allows them to run greater investigation into connectivity issues.

Currently I am running 3 XT8's (one as a router and 2 wired nodes), with the router directly connected to the ONT.

Has anyone managed to setup their XT8 in Access Point(AP) mode / AiMesh Router in AP mode connected to a Fritzbox. I have tried on multiple occasions, but without success!

Regarding the issue of setting up your ASUS XT8 in AP mode or AiMesh router AP mode, we recommend verifying the following steps:

  1. Verify Fritzbox Configuration:
    Please ensure that your Fritzbox is configured correctly. For detailed guidance, we recommend contacting Fritzbox customer support.
  2. Check the Connection and IP Range between XT8 and Fritzbox:
    Use an Ethernet cable to connect the WAN port of the XT8 main router to the LAN port of the Fritzbox. Ensure that there are no IP address conflicts between the XT8 and Fritzbox.
  3. Verify XT8 Node Connection and Reset:
    Confirm that the Ethernet cables of the two XT8 nodes are correctly connected to the LAN ports of the XT8 main router. If the nodes are not detected, reset them to factory settings (hold the reset button for about 5 seconds) and re-add them to the AiMesh system.
  4. Ensure IP Address Range Matches DHCP Server:
    Please make sure the IP address you input falls within the same subnet as your frontend device's (e.g., Fritzbox) DHCP server. For example, if your DHCP server range is 192.168.88.2 ~ 192.168.88.254, you can assign an IP address within this range (e.g., 192.168.88.19).
