We have a RT-AX58U router that we’ve have been using with no problems for a while — until last month.
Now whenever I try to change Family or Device settings via the iOS app, the settings will not stick. They just revert back to what they were. This happens automatically, for instance, when I…
- block a device’s access; (see attached)
- withdraw or add a device from/to a Family group;
- add or change a Time Scheduling;
- delete or change a Family group…
The change seems to happen, but 3 seconds later reverts back.
This basically makes these family / device features worthless, and I’m this close to just buying a different router.
To try to fix this, I’ve…
- power cycled the router;
- updated firmware;
- updated the iOS app;
- deleted and reinstalled the iOS app.
And, I’ve gotten in to the browser based admin controls but the same features sren’t available there afaik.
Any other suggestions?
