Hello,
I have an ASUS Zenbook Duo (2025) with BitLocker enabled. Everything was working fine until I updated the BIOS from version 309 to 310. After the update, I began seeing the BitLocker Recovery screen at boot. If I do a full shutdown, I can enter my BitLocker PIN and the system would work normally. If I do a restart, the Recovery screen would return.
I eventually had to disable BitLocker. When I attempted to re-enable it, I received the following error:
"No TCG event log is available.”
In Event Viewer:
Event ID: 878
“BitLocker failed to validate secure boot state.
Error: No TCG event log is available.”
TPM.msc shows that the TPM is “ready to use.”
I’ve also noticed that the keyboard and touchpad started lagging, and the system takes longer to start up on the first boot.
Additionally, I’m not seeing PTT or any TPM-related settings in the BIOS to confirm that it’s enabled.
Thanks.

Hi
I would be inclined to backup your work etc and do a clean install.
Either a Full Factory Reset, or preferably just the Operating System with an "INPLACE" (over the top) install as all your work, data etc is backed up.

As suggested by other users, based on the described situation, we recommend backing up your data first and then restoring the system. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Thanks for the replies.
This appears to be a bug in the 310 bios update:

I called into Asus support to report the issue. Waiting to hear back from them. I would avoid updating to bios 310 especially if you have Bitlocker enabled.
@Falcon_ASUS Are you able to please report this issue as well to Asus tech team? Thanks.
