Can the USB 3.2 port on the RT-AXE7800 be used to connect a USB-to-Ethernet adapter?

Since this router comes with only a single 2.5GBE port, I thought it'd be cool if one could use the USB 3.2 port to connect to a separate 2.5GBE switch via a USB-to-Ethernet adapter like this one: https://www.belkin.com/usb-c-to-2.5-gb-ethernet-adapter/INC012btBK.html.  Would that work?  Thanks.

based on your question, our backend has not actually tested this scenario, so we cannot guarantee the speed or the ability to establish a connection.
