I recently upgraded to an ASUS Zenwifi be14000 and am having some issues with upload speeds.
My setup
I have ATT BGW320 router setup in IP passthrough for 1ghz speed connection. Asus router is connected from the ATT router Lan port to the wan port on the ASUS router by cat 6 cable, new. I then have the Lan connection on the ASUS router with a cat 6 cable to the switches for the home. First issues I noticed was incredibly low speeds both up and down. So, after reading a forum I turned QOS on, Lan speeds returned to normal. Wi-Fi was then tested by moving to different channels and finding the best ones. Download speeds are great at above 800, but upload speeds are horrendous. I get 23 max on upload and it doesn't matter what changes I make the Wi-Fi remains terrible for uploads. I have fast DNS setup under wan per support person I spoke with and am on the 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 settings. Is there something I'm missing that is affecting the upload speeds?

I'm watching this Aureliannnnnnn for a while. He or she is playing a role here, plays the Asus support role.
Is replying with a catalogue of requests and next comes the silence. Grave silence...

I've returned my set long ago.
Replaced with Goo Nest Pro 6E (3-set).
Great performance and zero issues so far.

Which version of BE14000 are you using? I have had a three node BE14000 system with a BD4 satellite for several months. Had initial FW issues and always installed the latest FW updates. I have been running 3.0.6.6.102.56813 for 21 days now with no issues. I did "upgrade" to 56839 when it was released and experienced disconnects on several devices. I downgraded back to 56813 and the problem disappeared. Did the painful factory reset on the BE14000s and re-installed 56839. Still the same disconnect issues. Went back to 56813 21 days ago - so far, so good! I did contact Asus support and got a ticket escalated about the 56839 issues. Have not seen a new and hopefully better FW yet.

@tfhoughton , to be clear, the problem we're discussing in this thread has nothing to do with device disconnects. It's about the connection between the main unit and the Verizon FIOS ONT resulting in painfully slow upload speeds. In my case, everything else is working just great.
That said, since your ticket got escalated as mine did, I hope you actually get a call back. I was not so lucky.

I have no disconnects on 56839 but QOS is mandatory to get all internet which is crazy and Asus has been the worst for support. I've gotten better ideas from people with no networking knowledge than ASUS so far. Asus repeatedly sends me emails saying they'll get back with me in 1-2 business days after giving me identical steps and the ticket was escalated day 2 and we're at day 26 now-luckily still within my 30 day for bestbuy. Saturday I plan on returning if nothing else shakes out, to many questions without any real solutions.
