Hi, I have my PC connected directly in port 1 on the ZenWiFi XT9 router, and every time I start my PC, it takes a long time to find the network and connect to internet, like 30-60 secs before it's ready. When I plug my PC to the hub which is connected to port 2 on the router, the network connection is 'instant', ie. it is already connected to internet when I get to the windows login screen, and good to go as soon as its finished booting up. It doesn't matter if I assign a static IP in the router settings or not. Does anyone know why this is so?

Btw. I'm using Cat6 ethernet cables between the pc and the router

There is new firmware as of 2025/10/20 and I was wondering if you have it installed? I am hoping this may resolve the issue...

Port 1 might have a small delay during DHCP negotiation at boot. Using a different LAN port or setting a static IP directly on your PC (not just in the router) usually fixes the slow startup issue.

Thank you for your input guys!
I've updated the firmware on the router, tried all 3 ports in the back and set a static IP directly in the PC as well as in the router (not at the same time though). Unfortunately this had no effect on the issue. It's like the network adapter is reset every time the computer starts, and uses a long time to identify and connect to the network/internet.
