I recently upgraded to an ASUS Zenwifi be14000 and am having some issues with upload speeds.
My setup
I have ATT BGW320 router setup in IP passthrough for 1ghz speed connection. Asus router is connected from the ATT router Lan port to the wan port on the ASUS router by cat 6 cable, new. I then have the Lan connection on the ASUS router with a cat 6 cable to the switches for the home. First issues I noticed was incredibly low speeds both up and down. So, after reading a forum I turned QOS on, Lan speeds returned to normal. Wi-Fi was then tested by moving to different channels and finding the best ones. Download speeds are great at above 800, but upload speeds are horrendous. I get 23 max on upload and it doesn't matter what changes I make the Wi-Fi remains terrible for uploads. I have fast DNS setup under wan per support person I spoke with and am on the 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 settings. Is there something I'm missing that is affecting the upload speeds?

Asus doesn't seem to keen on responding or assisting customers. I don't believe they really have a support team and to be honest they've been stalking my email since I told them to go F*ck themselves. I found help here vs any interaction with an actual support person. Logs were sent etc...and no one ever called or contacted me directly. Try the switch between the ONT and router and check performance, seems to have fixed all my issues which means they have a negotiating problem between the ONT and ASUS router. The difference for me was immediate, speeds and throughput changed dramatically.
