cienkoI bet they do that because they have an amount of days to repair the device so they just play you xD and buy some more time in this way lol... ?My phone spent a month in service supposedly waiting for parts and returned with firmware updated (which didn't fix the original problem) and no parts replaced.
Now it's in service again due to being completely dead and I'm getting the same info again: "Your product is currently waiting for spare parts with a longer lead-time."
Looks like service centers have no spare parts in stock even though they order them when there's no need to 😉

LP_ASUSThank you for your interest, but I don't want to steal the thread, just described my experience with service centre. It were two separate issues in my case. First was the screen flickering and now phone being dead. It looks like OP has bigger problem than me.If you continue to have delays to the repair time, let me know and I can reach out to the repair center. How long have they had the phone in total? A month the first time and now they have it again?
