Touchpad becomes less responsive and sometimes erratic when not on charger (PLEASE HELP)

Detailed description：Whenever the charger is unplugged, it take up to a few minutes for the touchpad to becomes less responsive and from time to time, erratic. When the charger is plugged in there are no issues whatsoever. Your help would be much appreciated
