Also Problems with Windows 10 to 11

Detailed description:I have tried updating to windows 11 many times.

It fails every time.

I am using Windows11InstallationAssistant.exe

Error: 0xc1900101


  • Same here - I have a BRAND NEW Zenbook UX455E - windows is telling me I can upgrade to windows 11 but it fails EVERY TIME - I have no peripherals plugged in, no 3rd party AV, its basically a new off the shelf device with loads of storage, latest drivers, latest version of windows 10 - but gets the 0xC199.... error EVERY time - this sucks Asus - SORT IT OUT!

    Would you mind to try to delete ASUS System control interface driver and My ASUS app first,

    and then upgrade it again?

  • I tried again to delete ASUS System control interface driver without restarting.

    New error.

    should it not go less painful to install wondows

  • Problem solved

    1. Run Windows Update Troubleshooting
    2. delete ASUS System control interface driver. do not restart

    and now i'm running windows 11

    Hope it can help others with the same problem.

    Can I have your BIOS version and ASUS System control interface version and OS (20H2/21H1) version before upgrading to Win11?

  • Sorry I have already updated the bios (American Megatrends Inc. UX582LR.303, 27-08-2021)

    and to Windows 11. (Microsoft Windows 11 Pro)
