My phone shutdown within 3 minutes of plugging it to charging. I switched on the phone while it was still plugged in and same thing happened again. I checked and there was no software update. I thought it could be heating issue but I wasn't using the phone while charging and also it didn't feel overheated when i touched it. Can anyone help?

The advice is to go to service centre. If you are under warranty and no user induced damage, you should not be charged.
